This humble page is dedicated to my two fathers who deserve all the honor to in their dedication to their country. I'm adopted but know my biological father too. Robert J. Phillips on left my biological father. Murry James Farnsley on right my adopted father.
1942- Pvt. Robert James Phillips-Fort Sam Huston, Texas, Co. D First of the 9th Infantry, Second Infantry Division 1943-Post War Japan(Reconstruction period). Later was wounded at the 34th Parallel - Korean War

My Grandfather-Sgt. Robert J. Phillips- WWII with the 6th Co. 13th C.A. Corps in NY, born April 2, 1894

Sgt. Robert James Phillips - August 1941 one of the first to enlist at Warner Brothers Studio Civilian Building Draft Board. He weighed in and the doc told him to go out and eat 6 bananas and a quart of milk and just made it in the Army by a pound. 1942 stationed at Fort Sam, Houston Texas-Co D first of the 9th Infantry, Second Infantry Division. 1944- Was involved with the famous Red Ball Express or volunteered to drive tanker truck fuel at the front in the Battle of the Bugle for Patton's tanks. Bob never drove in his life or his driving partner, but they learned fast.

Korean War - Stationed in Vienna Austria-HQ Company of 796 MP Battalion for 5 years, saw no combat action. Rode in the International Patrol.

Vietnam - Troop B - First Armored Cavalry Regiment- The Black Horse. He was the First Sergeant in his troop.
